The brief
- For
- Christopher Ford, creator of Dark Pink, a comic about a sleuth in 1980s New Orleans
- They needed
- Dara, moving for the first time. We pushed past a single shot to give readers the comic’s neon noir, and a glimpse of what’s hunting her.
- We made
- Dara hits the alley wall hard enough to crack the brick, and grins. Something in a varsity jacket walks out of the smoke. Twenty-five seconds of neon noir, drawn by hand.
